7th Grade..... WHAT???

So yesterday Kaytlin came home with her registration for 7th grade...JUNIOR HIGH!! How is that possible?? I was in denial the whole night , didnt sign the paper until in the car on her way to school this morning. If I did not sign the paper she cant go right?? WOW, my fun innocent daughter is headed to Junior High! I DISLIKE junior high, kids are so mean that age!!



She has changed so much this year. She is an excellent student, very responsible,(drama queen) Excellent pianist! We are so lucky to have her! And I guess I will let her go to Junior High!!

Blue and Gold

Kyler earned his Bobcat and his Wolf badge at the Blue and Gold. He also earned 2 arrow points! I am sooo not a scouter mom,in fact it is kinda BIZZZARE if you ask me!!Weird songs and cheers and alot of dancing makes for an interesting night!!HAHA But Kyler worked hard so we went!

Kylers Simple Machine

The 3rd grade had to make a simple machine! Of course Kyler chose to make a truck lift and had to have a Ford truck too!(like father like son) They had alot of fun making it together and Jed actually let Ky try to weld, he loved every minute of it. He is always wanting to work with his Dad and wanting to do everything his dad does.

WOW What a slacker I am on blogging lately. Christmas was great, we all got what we wanted and more. In January we went to Mesquite with Ky to a baseball camp. It was very informative and we had alot of fun, we really enjoyed the nice weather!He also has decided to play on the Ultimate Sports team in Lindon and he LOVES it and they love him, so it was a perfect match for us. He is doing REALLY well. Kaytlin is doing really well in piano and has mastered I Am A Child Of God, so she can play for my parents homecoming(in only 4 1/2 months). We also took a cake decorating class and it was sooo much fun! I think I want to be a cake decorator in my next life. Jax is doing really well in school and just loves his little buddies. He thinks we have to play everyday but he is ALOT of fun and keeps us laughing with the stuff he comes up with.
Feburary has been busy with piano, scouts and baseball too. Kyler had his Pinewood derby race, he didnt do too bad for his 1st year. He took 2nd in 2 races and 1st in 1race. He also got his Bobcat and his Wolf badge and 2 arrow points. He is havig alot of fun with Scouts. He also got asked to play in a tournament in St.George last weekend and did REALLY well with his pitching and also got a triple!!(must be the new bat)! Kaytlin had NOVA graduation and wrapped up her Science fair project(HOOOORRAY) and she did well. We actually missed it! Jed and I got to go to Missouri for some work Jed was doing and it happened to be the same week. Mother of the Year award goes to ME!! Good thing for Natalie to go and be her Mother for both events. Jaxtons surgery went well and he was bouncin off the walls right after! So hopefully in a few weeks we get a clean report that he is all healed.
Seems like all we do is RUN RUN RUN with our kids and we LOVE IT!!

The Christmas Tree hunt

Every year on Thanksgiving weekend we go with some friends to Ferron and cut our tree! This is one of my favorite xmas traditions and my kids talk about it all year too!! I always have a hard time picking a tree because I like the BIG ones and Jed has to remind me that it will not fit in our house!

We didnt expect so much snow and we didnt have a sled so we resorted to....

Pumpkin Party

Every year I have a Pumpkin carving contest, we go on the Hayride and pick our pumpkins then we come to my house and have dinner then carve-paint our pumpkins. It is so much fun every year and the kids get more and more creative each year too!


My dad would be so proud!! Every year he has the kids all put a piece of straw in their mouth!

Jaxton started preschool last Thursday, he LOVES it and he thinks it just takes too long!! He has grown up so fast, crazy that my baby is going to preschool!
